Designed and hand assembled record cover and lyric booklet inspired by a selection from the Smithsonian Folkways archives. Through hand-drawn illustrations and thoughtful color choices, the design creates a visual representation of the song’s contrasting emotions of longing and hopefulness. The final piece combines illustration, editorial layout, and print production to create a cohesive physical music experience.
